Sometimes the poetry of the picture's surface best describes what I feel. There is a quality that defies times in this piece. There is an immediacy because it is here, very real, you can touch it. But the layers, crevices, crazing give me a feeling of something aged. Then in your mind, where does it take you. For the eyes that yet to see it, the story is far from finished.
