Les Yeux du Monde (The Eyes of the World) is a contemporary art gallery rotating exhibitions by regional, national and international contemporary artists and modern masters. Founded by the late Lyn Bolen Warren in 1995, the hilltop gallery is housed in a stunning Cor-ten steel and glass block contemporary structure designed by W.G. Clark, a destination that promises awe. Lyn's daughter, Hagan Rushton Tampellini owns and directs the gallery today.

City Art Gallery features the work of established regional and national artists and craftspeople. An extensive collection of paintings, ceramics, sculpture, glass and photography is showcased in a light-filled exhibition space.

Monthly, the gallery features a special showing of one or more artists as well as offering design, consultation and installation services.

Torrey Stroud, owner of City Art Gallery, has been in the gallery business for more than 30 years, and also serves as a member of the Collections & Acquisitions Committee for the Ackland Art Museum in Chapel Hill, NC.
